The DCSF would like to inform you that it has recently published Safe from Bullying, guidance on tackling bullying outside of schools.  It consists of a suite of guidance documents setting out how different local services, including LSCB business managers and anti-bullying leads, can work together to prevent and respond to bullying outside of schools. This builds on the success of our Safe to Learn guidance on tackling bullying in schools.

Safe from Bullying contains specific documents for practitioners working in local authorities and other strategic leaders, extended services in and around schools, Further Education (FE) colleges, play and leisure provision, youth activities, Children’s Homes, and on journeys around the community. They are supported by a set of training resources for staff.
